Pranic Energy Print E-mail
Written by Mohini Brown

Pranic energy, Prana, Chi or vital force are nothing but different names for one and the same thing, the subtle life energy that permeates all animate and inanimate objects in the manifest universe. When a human being is conceived, pranic energy enters the body and in the moment of death, it leaves the body. Without Prana, there is no life. Naturally, wouldn’t the next question be: “Do all humans have the same amount of Prana?” The answer is easy to guess. No, we don’t. When we come into the presence of a sick person, we can feel their weakness, their fragility. What they are experiencing in the form of an illness and what we are feeling in their presence is a lack of Prana, a pranic depletion. Other peoples’ presence can make us feel alive and energetic, because they radiate, the reason being that they have a storehouse of Prana in their body.

Cleansing and Detoxing - Detox in Thailand Print E-mail

In this life our body is our only capital. How do we treat it? Do we work it to death? Do we party it to death? Or both at the same time? Do we constantly weaken it by feeding it low quality food, devoid of nutritional value? These questions are worth asking ourselves, especially in the world we have created.

We run after money, success, name, fame, you name it. But all of this we can only do as long as we have a functional body. When the body starts to refuse doing the job, because it is overtaxed, used and abused, then all our personal goals in life become meaningless. We can only pursue our goals in a healthy and happy body that is well cared for. Think about this!

Vipassana Meditation - The Technique
(excerpt from www.dhamma.org)

Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered by Gotama Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal ills, i.e., an Art Of Living.

This non-sectarian technique aims for the total eradication of mental impurities and the resultant highest happiness of full liberation. Healing, not merely the curing of diseases, but the essential healing of human suffering, is its purpose.

Saying

The Divine is present in everyone, in all beings, in everything. Like space it is everywhere, all pervading, all powerful, all knowing. The Divine is the principle of Life, the inner light of consciousness, and pure bliss.

It is our very own Self.
