Why is it that sometimes people come from the most adverse circumstances like a poor family, a suppressed country, a lack of education and yet they become successful artists or business people, famous scientists or even spiritual leaders. Have you ever asked yourself how this is possible? Is it a miracle?

Well, it is because these people have an intuitive understanding of the Great Cosmic Law and how to use it in their life. They know that there is a Universal Cosmic Law that is true for everyone and everything, including the disadvantaged, the neglegted, the seemingly weak. Somehow they know that the Great Law is no respecter of persons, that it does not care about the social standing or accomplishments of a man or a woman.

These people intuitively understand that a person’s experience in life is entirely created by their own mind and depends on the choices they make in physical life. They understand that the Universe is “mental” in nature, that everything that appears on the physical plane first originates on the plane of the Cosmic Mind. First comes thought, then matter. That means that thoughts are living energy and that the proper directing of our thoughts by the will affects our reality on the physical plane or life in other words.

Now, thoughts don’t influence only our environment. They also influence us humans in a very holistic way. Our nerve substances, composition of the blood, auric energies and radiance, are all affected by the state of our mind, by the thoughts that we habitually think on a day to day basis. In other words, our thoughts create our reality on the level of our physiology in form of health or disease and on the level of our material existence in form of abundance and success or the lack thereof. Doesn’t it seem of utmost importance then to monitor the quality of our thoughts?

It has been proven that we humans think approximately 60.000 thoughts per day. The depressing news is that it is mostly the same 60.000 thoughts every day. Now are you getting a picture of the amount of programming that happens unconsciously inside of our mind on a daily basis anyway? What are our thoughts about? What are we reaffirming to ourselves day after day relentlessly and unconsciously? Are our thoughts about happiness, success, joy and peace for us and everyone else or are they thoughts of competition, lack, misery and struggle? The repetitive thoughts that we carry inside our heads, especially those that are negative stem from family thought patterns, thought patterns of the dominant religion in our country, society thought patterns and of course global thought patterns, the thought consciousness which is particular of our civilization.

This implies that we must get a grip on our thoughts if we want to turn our personal life around and the events on a global level. This is cultivated by desire, effort and perseverance. It means a constant vigil in watching our minds in how we think. It means a process of discarding habits of our established mindset and replacing it with a new vision of life. It means that we move from victim consciousness to becoming the masters of our life. When the changes start happening in and around us due to our continued effort, that is the real miracle.
